Chambord Summer Cocktails

The weather is heating up in Mississippi, which means berries of all kinds are ripe for the picking! These summery cocktails all feature Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur made with the finest raspberries and blackberries to be found in the Loire Valley in the heart of France. Those luscious juices are then blended with black currant, Madagascar vanilla bean, and cognac to create the famous liqueur.

Of course, you’ll want to garnish each cocktail with freshly picked
Mississippi berries!

The Chambord Royale
  • 1 oz. Chambord

  • 6 oz. dry champagne (or Cava, Prosecco, sparkling wine
    or sparking grape juice)

Fill a champagne flute three-quarters full of champagne.
Top with about 1 oz. of Chambord. Drop in a fresh black raspberry and serve.

Black Raspberry Margarita
  • ½ oz. fresh lime juice

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice. Shake well and strain into a margarita glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries. (Optional: rim the glass with sugar)

The French Manhattan
  • Dash of bitters

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks or martini glass. Garnish with a fresh cherry.
