1 ounce silver tequila
2 ounces pear vodka (such as Absolut Pear Vodka)
1/2 to 3/4 ounce simple syrup
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
Sprinkle of ground cardamom
Garnish: fresh or dried pear slice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, pear vodka, lemon and simple syrup. Shake a generous sprinkle of ground cardamom into the shaker. Shake until well chilled, about 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with salt (optional). Garnish with pear and serve.
